Market Intelligence Manager - Biogas

As our Market Intelligence Manager for Biogas, you are a true expert when it comes to the Biogas and Biomethane market. Within Desotec, you will have the following important responsibilities:

• You gain key insights on the competitive landscape and detect the latest trends and developments across European member states
• You understand the market dynamics and perform (both on- and offline) customer & market research, specifically in Biogas and Biomethane
• You analyze and develop a deep level of understanding around existing and potential product & service offerings to inform and adapt product development for biogas purification
• By means of your insights, business development representatives are able to identify potential end-customers and new ways of answering unmet market needs
• You communicate company-wide to make sure that all levels of the organization are properly aligned and informed on current trends, market dynamics, legislative evolutions and competitive intelligence
• Based on your market findings & research, you co-develop demand generating content (eg. white papers, reports etc.) together with our Content Expert and Product Management
• You represent Desotec across European organizations, associations, working groups, conferences, and more, in order to increase the visibility and reach of our organization
• You are a true influencer in the Biogas market and regularly share insights through different channels (workshops, webinars, social, trainings, etc.)
•  You further increase (y)our social network, and leverage it as one of the main channels through which your activities are performed

• You have a Master or PhD in (bio-)chemical/bioscience engineering 
• At least 5 years of relevant experience (in renewable energy, preferably biogas)
  • Experience in managing a team is a nice to have
• Analytical and critical mindset
• Strong communication and networking skills
• Structured way of working
• Proactive and hands-on
