B2B Technical Sales Engineer Czech Republic

Position:

  • You are responsible for managing and developing new business in Czech Republic within the field of liquid and gas purification within the company’s strategic target markets (Air emission, Wastewater, Biogas, Remediation & Chemicals).
  • Prospection & business development is part of your daily operation (is your second nature).
  • You are able to identify the customer’s technical and commercial needs and are able to translate this into solutions which you’ll provide to customers at all levels (environmental engineers, process engineers, plant management, procurement), with appropriate follow-up.
  • You will be supported in your role by the Application Specialists, the Sales Directors and the Business Development team.
  • You work independently from a home office base.
  • You are prepared to travel frequently with regular stays overnight in Czech Republic and the neighbouring countries as well as occasional travel to the headquarters in Belgium.

Profile:

  • You are a proactive (bio-)chemical engineer with strong analytical skills and a good basic knowledge of chemistry.
  • You have excellent communication skills, both oral and written in Czech (mother tongue) and English (corporate language), knowledge of German or another Eastern European language is an asset.
  • Previous (technical) sales experience in a related sector such as environmental technology, biogas, chemistry, water purification or ground remediation is an asset.
  • You enjoy to prospect potential clients and acquire new business.
  • You are motivated by working together for a better environment.
