B2B technical sales engineer - Germany


Desotec's mission is to protect our planet. We provide end-to-end purification solutions for pollution in air, water and other gases and liquids. We do this by supplying mobile activated carbon filters to our B2B customers all over Europe. We recycle our own saturated filters by taking back the spent activated carbon for reactivation, making our filter solutions circular.

  • As a sales engineer, you are responsible for the sale of technically challenging projects in the field of air and water treatment and in process applications.
  • You analyse the customer's problem and develop a solution with accompanying follow-up and service.
  • You make the offers and handle the new requests.
  • Through active prospection, you expand the customer base in your assigned region.
  • To this end, you participate several times a year in international trade fairs.

  • You are a proactive and analytically strong engineer with a good basic knowledge of chemistry.

  • You have excellent communication skills in English, both verbally and in writing.

  • Preferably you have several years of work experience in a related sector: biogas, chemistry, water treatment, soil remediation, environmental techniques, etc.

  • You like to work independently and you are assertive enough to talk to customers.

  • You work from home office and come to the head office in Roeselare on a regular basis.
